New Asus ROG Phone 6D leak reveals familiar design |
After launching the ROG Phone 6 series in July, Asus has now announced that it will launch the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate on September 19.
The D in the name appears to represent Dimensity as the phone will be replaced by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor to support the Dimensity 9000+ processor.
Now, a new report from 91mobiles has revealed the ROG Phone 6D series, which consists of two versions: Standard Edition and 6D Ultimate Edition.
The hardware appears to be very similar to their Snapdragon counterparts. The ROG Phone 6D looks identical to the ROG Phone 6. On the other hand, the 6D Ultimate has some minor design changes compared to the 6 Pro.
It has been confirmed that the ROG Phone 6D will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor, making it the first gaming phone with this particular processor.
The ROG Phone 6D's 3C listing also revealed 65W fast charging capability, FHD+ resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 50MP Sony IMX766 camera, and 6000mAh battery.
