Apple is preparing to start mass production of the MacBook Pro later this year

Apple will be extending the release of a new generation of MacBooks with M2 processors for some time, and the latest reports confirm that the company plans to ramp up mass production of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro later this year.

The latest reports confirm that Apple is preparing to start mass production of a new generation of MacBook Pro devices in the last quarter of this year.

Sharing new details, analyst Ming Chi Kuo clarified in the report that the new MacBook Pro devices will not include a TSMC chipset based on a 3nm manufacturing accuracy, as the new devices are based on unique chipsets with a 5nm manufacturing accuracy.

These details differ from previous reports that confirmed the M2 Pro and Max chips are being manufactured at 3nm by TSMC, as Apple ships 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets in the system. past. Later in the year, the M2 Pro and Max chips were said to support this year's MacBook Pro versions.

It should be noted that TSMC is about to start mass-producing the new chips with a resolution of 3 nm, so it is likely that the new chips will be featured in the MacBook Pros.
