AMD officially announced the AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors on August 29.
Several previous leaks gave the official release date for the AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors with Zen 4 Raphael architecture, and today AMD officially announced the official date of the event, which was broadcast on the company's official channel on the YouTube platform.
AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su announced a new generation of chips that focus on the details of the Zen 4 architecture and the AM5 socket, ushering in the company's return to LGA processors in 2018.
The event is also expected to include announcements from PC manufacturers about the next generation B650 and X670 motherboards targeting AM5 processors, as well as AMD notes about the RDNA3 architecture that supports Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards.
