The latest update to the Amazfit T-Rex 2 adds real-time navigation and tracking capabilities
The latest durable sports watch from Amazfit, T-Rex 2, has many innovative features that will appeal to many sports enthusiasts such as mountain biking, hiking or snowboarding.
Zepp Health has announced the second generation of a powerful smartwatch that can import and display tracks directly on its AMOLED screen. This feature allows users to use real-time navigation to find and follow routes without taking out their smartphone.
However, these new features are not available in the firmware that comes with the T-Rex 2. Now, the brand has confirmed to watch enthusiasts that these features will be released via an OTA software update as soon as possible.
Amazfit keeps that promise with the release of Zepp OS v9.22.7.2 for the T-Rex 2. The company has not only enabled a training module for the watch, but has also added live tracks for navigation and data import. The import can be done via the Zepp app on your smartphone or via other services such as Strava or local QR code facilities.
