Tik Tok is testing more mini games

TikTok is experimenting with games more widely in its app, and the company recently added a way for developers in certain markets, including the US, to add a link to a game by clicking the Add Link button and selecting Mini Games. Select one of the nine mini-games attached to the video.

When viewers see a video related to a game, they can play it by clicking on the link next to the creator's username.

"We are currently considering bringing HTML5 games to TikTok through integrations with third-party game developers and studios," a TikTok spokesperson told TechCrunch. One of the games will come from Aim Lab, and TikTok is called Mr.Aim Lab's Nightmare. Other TikTok partners in the program include developers Voodoo, Nitro Games, FRVR, and Lotum.

Not all games currently have ads or in-app purchases, and the project is in early beta. TikTok explores how creators will create content around them and how users will interact with the game.
