How do you know if IPL is suitable for your skin tone
Lumilisse offers different settings for light to medium skin tones. The skin tone sensor reads the skin tone of the target area and adjusts the light intensity automatically. Lumilisse is not recommended for use with dark skin tone or light hair.
Do not use on dark skin: darker skin absorbs more light. IPL treatment can cause slight swelling and pain, as well as changes in skin color.
Use Lumilisse on light hair: Since IPL uses dark hair color to direct energy into the follicle, this system is not suitable for blonde, red, gray and white hair. We recommend using different hair removal regimens.
