| Asus Zenfone 9 news design specifications expected price and release date |
After Asus launched the Zenfone 8 last year, the company is now preparing to launch the Zenfone 9, which has been leaked several times, revealing almost everything. Now Asus itself has hinted at some of these features.
Zenfone 9 is slated to launch on July 28 and the event will be officially broadcasted via a live stream on the company's official Youtube channel.
According to a leaked promotional video, the smartphone will have a new design that looks more premium than the Zenfone 8 (Asus 8z).
The Zenfone 9 will feature different phone designs from Huawei and Apple, and the phone will have a flat metal frame with two large circles on the back that house the cameras. The phone will also get an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The phone screen has a hole in the upper left corner and the bottom edge is larger than the front.
The top of the phone features a 3.5mm headphone jack and a secondary microphone slot, while the bottom features a speaker grille, a USB-C port, a primary microphone slot, and a SIM card slot.
The left side of the device is empty, while the right side houses the volume buttons and a dedicated power button with an integrated fingerprint sensor. The phone will be available in black, white, blue and red.
The phone has a 5.9-inch Samsung AMOLED display with FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor and a 4300mAh battery.
The phone has a dual rear camera and a 12-megapixel front camera. The rear camera setup consists of a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor and a 12MP wide angle lens.
According to rumors, the Asus Zenfone 9 may cost between 800 and 900 euros.
