The Makita-built engine delivers 49 cubic feet per minute of power to tackle a variety of debris. Suction hose extends up to 40-1/2 inches to reach hard-to-reach places. With a fully charged 1.5Ah battery (BL1815, sold separately), users can get up to 40 minutes of continuous run time. There are 3 speed buttons to choose the appropriate speed for the application. It operates at a sound level of 68 dB (A). Leadership. An indicator light appears when the battery is being charged. XLC07Z is lighter for ease of transport and reduces operator fatigue. It is part of the Makita Scalable 18V LXT System, the world's largest cordless tool system powered by an 18V lithium-ion battery. To improve utility performance and extend battery life, Makita has developed the Star Protection Computer command. Star Protection is a communication technology that allows tools with Star Protection to exchange data with the battery in real time and monitor usage conditions to prevent overcharging, overdischarging and overheating. For added versatility, the tool can also be powered by a Makita 18V LXT Li-Ion battery, with a star symbol on the battery indicating the star protection inside.
