The Philips Avent SCF281 / 05 Microwave Steam Sterilizer kills 99.9% of germs in just 2 minutes. They operate at higher temperatures than dishwashers and use the power of a microwave to generate natural steam. Measuring just 6.5 x 11 inches, it's small enough to fit in most microwaves. Its compact and lightweight design makes it ideal for travel. The safety clip secures the lid firmly to the base and the side handles stay cooler than other sterilizers for safe entry and exit from the microwave. At full power, the microwave steam sterilizer can hold up to four 9-ounce bottles or two 11-ounce bottles of Philips Avent. The inner shelf also provides space for two Philips Avent breast pumps (non-electric parts only) and up to four breast milk cups with lids. You can also use it to sterilize pacifiers, non-metallic utensils, and other microwaveable baby utensils.
