Global Caché IP2SL-P iTach uses the Internet to turn your RS232 serial device into a remote control. IP2SL-P serves as a wired channel to connect serial devices (such as computers, amplifiers, and televisions) to the network via wired Ethernet (PoE). The adapter has a DB9 connector that is compatible with most serial devices.
IP2SL-P iTach is based on open systems. The declared API allows you to seamlessly integrate serial devices with any third-party network-based system. You can use PC-based control software, iPhone/iPod/iPad control applications, and advanced control systems such as Comfortclick, iRidium and Touch Squid with IP2SL-P.
