Resetting the Electric Parking Brake (EPB): The Electric Parking Brake (EPB) is an electronically controlled parking brake technology. The VD700 is an essential tool for loosening the rear electric parking brake assembly when changing the rear brake pads or discs, allowing the caliper pistons to move backwards. It can also scan codes and turn off the electric parking brake light when finished. (Note: See product manual and documentation for additional electric parking brake steps.)
TPMS Reset: After changing tires, the VD700 can be used to clear the code and turn off the TPMS warning light. (Note: Some vehicles with TP20 protocol do not support this function. Please use the vehicle reset button to reset the TPMS warning light.)
Adjusting the throttle position: If you encounter these problems: the engine may stall or has a malfunction, the engine may not run smoothly, there may be insufficient power, or the transmission (gear) may not shift properly, which means you need to check from the throttle position. sensor (TPS). After that, the problem code should be cleared. VD700 can clear codes and reset TPS. (Note: All protocols are supported, but KWP1281, KWP2000 and TP16 protocols require manual operation.)

DPF Regeneration: The most common reasons for DPF failure are: The short term motor does not reach its optimum operating temperature. A stuck EGR valve will increase the flow of diesel soot through the DPF. Defective injectors send too much fuel into the air/fuel mixture. The VD700 performs a forced regeneration. After replacing the filter, turn off the DPF light and reset the ECU. After adding, reset the auxiliary light.
