Microsoft offers Microsoft Lists as a beta preview

Microsoft Lists is now available as a free preview for users of personal Microsoft accounts, but only for the first 200,000 people who sign up for a trial.

To access the online preview of the application only, users can log on to the listen.live.com website.

Company officials describe the preview as a simplified version of the Microsoft Lists app, designed for small businesses and personal use for use with a Microsoft account.

Microsoft Lists is a task management app similar to the to-do list app that was previously available to business and enterprise users as part of an Office 365 or Microsoft 365 subscription.

According to Microsoft, the preview is based on Microsoft's core menus and includes new features, including tabbed views and the ability to add images to topics.

However, the preview is not a fully functional version of Microsoft's menu. The company claims that the preview version is missing some features of the stock app. It also does not work on iOS or Android.

If you decide to try the preview, there are some storage limitations. You can create up to 50 lists, with a maximum of 2,000 items per list. Upload videos, files and images up to 200MB per ad.

Microsoft Lists was first released in 2020, and it's still a relatively new product. In essence, the app allows users to create, manage, and share different lists across multiple devices and with colleagues.

The Microsoft menu now supports personal Microsoft accounts

The app offers ready-to-use templates (like most Microsoft products) for many different needs. Examples include activity streams, asset managers, configuration checklists, and more.

Company officials have recommended users to use the app to manage resumes, charitable donations, recipes, gift lists, book clubs, and art collections.

If you use other task management apps like Asana and Airtable, you're probably familiar with the list feature, which lets you switch between calendars, grids, and custom layouts when viewing items.

For companies, entries are useful for job-related tasks, such as b. Track potential candidates or manage site content.

"We're taking a huge step forward by making the Microsoft List available through a Microsoft account so that anyone can use this tool in their personal, school and work lives," Microsoft said.
