Xiaomi announces the Redmi Note 11 series |
Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Note 11 series, continuing its line of budget phones that are being sold heavily in India and many other markets.
There are four phones in total. But it is different in certain areas. Each has what Xiaomi describes as a modern flat body that looks like an iPhone. Most of the specs are shared between at least the two models.
Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is the top model. The phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 695 processor and supports 5G networks. It has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a frequency of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1080 pixels. There is a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
There is a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is the only phone in the group that doesn't have a 2MP depth camera.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro is basically the same as the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G but uses a Mediatek Helio G96 processor that supports LTE connectivity only.
The Redmi Note 11 is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor and a smaller 6.43-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution.
The Redmi Note 11 has a 50MP main camera, 33W fast charging and 6GB of RAM instead of the 8GB of the Redmi Note 11 Pro.
Xiaomi series with flat edge looks like iPhone
The Redmi Note 11S has the same screen and 33W fast charging as the Redmi Note 11. But with Helio G96 processor, 108MP main camera and 8GB RAM option, just like the Redmi Note 11 Pro.
All these phones come with 5,000 mAh batteries. There is a fingerprint sensor, a headphone jack, and a storage capacity of 128 GB.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro starts at $300 for the 6/64GB model and $350 for the 8/128GB model.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G starts at $330 for the 6/64GB version and $380 for the 8/128GB version.
Pricing is the key for such a group of products to be affordable and competitive.
Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S will go on sale this month. The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will not be available until February.
