YouTube fixes Disney's problems with YouTube TV |
YouTube warned customers last week that they may not be able to access Disney-owned channels through their YouTube TV streaming service until this weekend if the two companies don't reach a new transfer deal.
Negotiations collapsed and YouTube TV warned customers to take Disney Channel out of service and lower the price to customers.
But now things have changed and YouTube has announced a new deal. But it still offers customers a $15 communication hold.
This Alphabet-owned company has offered contract versions to its clients. He said he signed a new deal so that Disney could continue broadcasting its content on YouTube TV.
This means that YouTube TV customers' prices won't drop to a lower price, just like when the channel appears to be closed. Instead, YouTube TV continues to run at the regular price of $64.99 a month.
The new deal still includes Disney networks like ESPN and FX, as well as on-demand content from Disney.
Customers who have Disney recordings can view those recordings in their YouTube TV library. YouTube TV has found users watching the local ABC radio station resume use of the service.
YouTube and Disney reach an agreement
Without a deal, YouTube TV customers cannot access a large number of streaming channels and on-demand content products.
A total of 18 Disney-owned channels were affected, including local radio stations ABC, ABC News Live, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, Freeform, FX, FXX, FXM, National Geographic, National Geographic Wild, ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN3. and ESPNU, ESPNews, SEC Network, and ACC Network.
Also, due to contractual disagreements, the company promised its members a $15 discount while Disney content was still on their platform. Although it canceled Disney's one-day plan, the company announced that it will continue to allocate individual points to all affected members.
Additionally, if the customer cancels due to failed negotiations, they can return to the baseline by visiting the website and then clicking "Add" to return to the baseline. .
The company notes that members who have suspended their membership will start earning points one month after the initial payment.
Banned members get this point one month after the first top-up.
