The AcuRite Lightning Detector Replacement with Temperature and Humidity Sensors can track lightning strikes up to 40 kilometres. It also has a built-in thermometer and hygrometer that can accurately measure outdoor temperature and humidity. The detector features a compact, weatherproof design and compact mounting options. The lightning detector can wirelessly transmit lightning, temperature, and humidity data to a compatible AcuRite weather station (sold separately). The AcuRite Lightning Detection Sensor can provide warnings of cloud-to-ground, cloud-to-cloud, and cloud-to-cloud lightning strikes within 40 kilometers. If there is a lightning bolt within range, the detector will warn you with an audible alarm and flashing red LED lights. Lightning detectors improve anti-jamming functions to prevent false lightning detections.
