Instagram Lets You Reply to Comments Using Reels |
Instagram has introduced a new Reels Visual Replies feature that allows users to use Reels to respond to comments on posts.
Now when users want to respond to a comment, they will see a new option that allows them to select the scroll button to create a response to the video.
The social media giant indicated that the reaction to the video came in the form of a poster.
“We love the community that creators have created on Instagram,” the platform said in a tweet announcing the new functionality. So we are very excited to introduce Reels Visual Replies, a new feature for interacting with the audience.
The final job is to add more reels to the platform. Notably, the new feature is similar to the TikTok video reply feature, which allows users to respond to comments on their content through video responses.
TikTok introduced this feature last year, giving users the ability to provide more basic information about videos and answer questions. Given how popular this feature is, it's no surprise that Instagram offers a similar feature to help clone it.
The introduction of Reels Visual Replies coincided with the introduction of a number of new features to the platform. I recently introduced a new year-end reading function.
This feature uses story files where users can customize and choose up to 10 stories to share with their followers.
To use this feature, users must post more than three stories or open story archives this year.

The platform suggests running messages for you. But you can also choose what you want to share. The new functionality is currently available to users for several weeks.
Instagram has also introduced a new Rage Shake feature that allows users to shake their phones to report issues with the app.
After the app shake report, you can explain what happened to the app and report the problem. The social media giant has also introduced the ability to remove individual items from Instagram carousel posts that contain three or more photos or videos.
Instagram carousel posts in the feed can combine up to 10 photos and videos into one post. With this update, you can delete items from the Instagram carousel library.
The company is also testing a new feature called "Take a Break" that allows users to remember to take a break after 10, 20 or 30 minutes.
There is also a new addition to your poster to create a general theme for the story. The new feature allows users to reply to other users' stories with their own stories after specific prompts or topics.
