| General Motors delivers electric Hummers to customers |
General Motors has officially begun providing customers with factory-built electric Hummer 1 pickup trucks, according to a press release posted on GM's website.
Built on an Ultium platform, the Hummer Edition 1 costs $110,295, has 1,000 horsepower, 15,591 Nm of torque and an estimated range of 530 km.
One of the car's unique features is the CrabWalk, which allows the truck to roll diagonally at low speed by turning the front and rear wheels at the same angle.
Another feature is that the truck's suspension height has been increased by 6 inches, which allows the truck to cross large rocks or water when driving off-road.
General Motors announced that the Hummer Edition 1 will not have this feature in 2022. It is available via free software updates and is a standard feature for all vehicle models produced from 2023 onwards.
Hummer Edition 1 also has a power setting that allows you to use the full power of the electric gearbox. General Motors claims that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in about 3 seconds.

It is also equipped with the Super Cruise system, which gives you a hands-free driving experience and allows for automatic lane change on compatible roads. Due to a lack of chips, production of the Cadillac Escalade Super Cruise was discontinued in 2022. However, the Hummer Version 1 does not appear to be affected.
Hummer 1 has since been sold. However, other packages can also be booked. The Hummer 3X is set to go on sale this fall, priced at $99,995. It has an estimated range of more than 480 kilometers and three engines can produce 830 horsepower and 15,591 Nm of torque.
Meanwhile, the Hummer 2X costs $89,995,625, has two engines, and will be available in the spring of 2023. It can cover 480 kilometers on a single charge and produce 1,033 Nm of torque.
The Hummer 2 features two engines that produce the same 625 horsepower and 10,033 Nm of torque. GM plans to release it in the spring of 2024 at a price of $79,995 with a full range of over 400 km.
The company first launched the Hummer electric pickup truck late last year. The first-of-its-kind car was auctioned for $2.5 million in March, with all proceeds going to Tunnel to Towers.
