TikTok is greatly expanding its influence on TV screens. After first launching in North America on the Amazon Fire TV platform, the TikTok TV app is now available on Samsung and LG smart TVs and Android TV devices, including Chromecast and Google TV.

Outside of North America, the platform has been available on Samsung TV and Fire TV in the UK since 2020. The app had over 1 billion monthly active users in September. According to reports, the average listening time in the US has exceeded the average listening time on YouTube.
