First Alert 1044807 Z-Wave Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm, suitable for second generation looped alarms
Wireless and easy-to-install smoke and carbon monoxide alarms protect your home and family from potential hazards. It's designed to improve compatibility with Ring Alarm Security and other certified Z-Wave systems to keep you informed of portable emergency alarms. Z-Wave Plus Smart Start can connect the device to the hub and hub faster and easier using QR code scanning on the device. The 2-in-1 detector includes a photoelectric smoke alarm chamber, an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor, an 85 dB speaker, a tamper-resistant battery cover and a test/mute button. It is designed for residential and institutional applications such as sleeping areas in hospitals, hotels, dormitories and apartment buildings according to NFPA 101. After extensive testing, it meets UL217, UL2034, CSFM, NFPA 720, NFPA 101 and other institutional standards. The group alarm also meets building regulations requiring battery-operated wireless Z-Wave smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, as well as ICC regulations. You need the Z-Wave Plus portal hub to receive mobile notifications. Please contact the manufacturer of your Z-Wave hub to make sure it supports First Alarm Detector.
