Centralite 3315-C Water Leak Sensor (for SmartThings, Wink, Vera and ZigBee platforms)
Protect your home from costly leaks and floods by installing water sensors near water heaters, tubs, and underwater swimming pools. The water sensor is compact, easy to use and can be installed almost anywhere. Place the sensor directly on the ground and it will notify you when it detects the presence of water.
In the event of a leak, shut off the water supply to the house automatically
When the Class 3 water sensor detects the presence of water, all household water closes the valve f to cut off the water supply. Even when you're away from home or don't know there's a problem, it can protect your home from leaks and floods.
Be careful not to go past the drain pan of the air conditioner
Optional remote control wiring allows you to place the water sensor in an area with typical standing water. The A/C drip tray will retain some water under normal operating conditions, but a Class 3 water sensor will alert you when the water level reaches an unacceptable level.
