| Samsung lets you design the Galaxy Z Flip 3 |
Samsung hosted an Unpacked Part 2 event, and the company took the lead in launching the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition, a foldable phone that you can customize in a variety of colors.
However, you cannot customize the custom version with the color of your choice. But the company offers many opportunities.
You can choose between two frame colors (black or silver) and five front and rear colors (blue, yellow, pink, white or black) for a total of 49 possible combinations.
Each Galaxy Z Flip 3 Custom Edition also comes with a matching wallpaper and screen. If you want to update the look of your phone, the company offers an upgrade service and you can send it in for a pallet swap.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 Personal is compatible with the model released in August, with the exception of additional customization options.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition is available to order now in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, South Korea, and the UK through the company's website.
Prices start at $1,100 and offer 12 months of Samsung Care + protection. As each machine is made to order, delivery time varies.
New Samsung phones offer 49 color combinations
In addition to the custom version of the Galaxy Z Flip 3, Samsung has also announced a software update for the Galaxy Watch 4.
The update is available for download and includes four new watch faces, including one called Info Brick, which you can customize to indicate that you want to see more fitness and health stats.
If you are an existing Animal Dial fan, you can now add up to four functions to the interface.
As part of the My Photo + watch face, you can now use GIFs instead of still photos. Likewise, as part of a progressive challenge, the company has redesigned the animation to make it more interesting. Now there's a bear encouraging you to take 10,000 steps.
The update also adds a new gesture that you can use to launch your favorite app or feature. For example, you can link gestures to create a new reminder or to open a training menu.
You can also adjust the sensitivity of the fall detection function so that it works normally even if you fall on your feet. Thanks to the update, Galaxy Watch 4 users can also get a free 60-day subscription to Strava.
Finally, Samsung released a special edition Maison Kitsuné for the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Watch 4.
These devices cost $250 and $400 at launch. These devices use the new Moonrock bow color. It has the usual styling that this fashion house is famous for.
The watch has two straps. One is beige moonstone and the other is a color called stardust gray. The case for earplugs is of the same color.
When you purchase a mobile device, you get access to playlists curated by Kitsuné Musique. These two devices are limited in number in some markets around the world.
