Schlage Sense Smart Deadbolt uses a Satin Nickel Camelot rim to make everyday life easier and more comfortable. Enter the passcode on the touch screen to unlock the door instead of looking for the key in your pocket. Pair the lock with your smartphone via Bluetooth. With just a few clicks in the Schlage Sense app, you can share access with your trusted friends and family without having to monitor your backup keys. Schlage Sense lock is easy to install in a few minutes. It's battery powered, so no wiring is required, and if there's a power outage in the house, the lock will still accept the access code. The average battery life is about a year, and a low battery indicator warns you before you replace it for a few weeks. When new features are released, you can update the wireless lock through the app so you don't have to buy a new lock to take advantage of the latest features. Add the Schlage Sense Wi-Fi Adapter (sold separately) to your home Wi-Fi network to lock/unlock from anywhere on your Android smartphone, iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Or if you connect your iPad/Apple TV to your home Wi-Fi network, you can control the lock from your iPhone as part of your HomeKit-enabled smart home.
