Microsoft has acquired Two Hat, a content screening company that helps remove harmful content from Xbox.

Over the past few years, Microsoft has partnered with Two Hat to improve the Xbox community. But the terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"Over the past several years, Microsoft and Two Hat have worked together to apply active scanning technology in games and non-game experiences to detect and detect malicious content before it reaches members," said Dave McCarthy, Head of Product Services at Xbox. our community.

"Two Hat technology helps the global Xbox, Minecraft, and MSN communities be more secure for users," he added.

The acquisition aims to improve Microsoft's gaming content management and even expand the company's consumer services.

The company recently tried to acquire popular communities such as TikTok, Discord, and Pinterest. CEO Satya Nadella has expressed interest in the company's focus on content creators and the community. Moderation plays an important role in any online community service.
