iOS 15 is now installed on 20% of iPhones |
It's only two or three weeks since the launch of the iPhone 14 and the 15th version of iOS. However, the system succeeded in covering nearly 20% of all supported iPhones within a short period of time.
This is based on data from market research to track Mixpanel and technology product development. Interestingly, the new system is suitable for very old mobile phones such as iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, etc.
In general, Apple has done well on software updates, especially iOS updates. This is reflected in examples like the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7, as these phones were launched in 2015 and 2016 and even though those years have passed, they still support the latest version of iOS.
It is no secret that Android phones will not repeat the same situation to anyone. Since only Google Pixel phones have received major updates for over three years, it hasn't been repeated. Most, if not all, Android phones get only three major updates.
On the other hand, the iOS 15 update loads many new functions and features as usual. There were many software issues and errors which were frequently used by a large number of users, but Apple started to fix them.

The new system has been greatly improved in the notification area, especially the notification system in mobile phones. Users can block notifications for certain app groups at specific times.
This function is very useful. This is because anyone can set a custom mode to work and once you enable it, notifications of entertainment apps will be blocked. In addition to the notification summary feature, the system has also improved the size of the app icons for easier access. This feature allows the user to get a summary of the notifications he missed when the above app block notification function is enabled.
Apple also explained that the iPhone relies on artificial intelligence built into the operating system to organize notifications by importance, as well as emergency calls and SMS messages to maintain the user's location at all times.
The new version of Apple Maps is especially improved in 3D navigation. In addition, the feature most affected is the one that prevents apps from stalking you, which has started a war between Apple and Facebook.
