Cleaning Cloth for Apple Devices $19 |
If you're worried about cleaning your Apple products safely, now's the time to use the official Apple Cleaning Cloth for $19.
In addition to the new MacBook Pro, M1 Pro, and M1 Max chips and third-generation AirPods, the company also released this polishing cloth after the Unleashed event.
The company's branded fabric is made of non-abrasive, non-abrasive materials and can be purchased separately.
Aside from the company's logo, it's not clear how this fabric differs from typical microfiber fabrics that can be purchased for little money.
The company recommends that you use a soft, lint-free cloth when cleaning the machine and avoid using emery cloth, wipes, paper towels, or the like. All of these problems are eliminated with a $19 piece of cloth.
The company said on its textile products page that it can clean the screen of any Apple device. There is a compatibility list with iPhone, iPad, Mac, iPod touch, and Apple Watch models that are a few years old.
This cloth is reminiscent of the polishing cloth needed to clean expensive Pro Display XDR screens.
Apple sells the polishing cloth separately
Based in Cupertino, California, the company has a habit of pushing price limits on its products and accessories.
The iPhone is the first smartphone to approach and surpass the $1,000 mark. Since then, it has become more and more popular, driving up prices for other mobile communications industries.
In 2019, the company released an updated version of the Mac Pro with higher configuration options and a price tag of over $50,000. The included Pro Display XDR costs $4,999 (excluding stand). Each suite costs an additional $999.
Even if you decide to buy a new 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M1 Max processor and 8TB of storage, the price will still exceed $6000.
And the company's fluctuating prices don't always work. In 2015, he launched the so-called Apple Watch Edition, a $17,000 smartwatch with an 18k gold case. But customers are not willing to pay so much for this quickly outdated technology.
