Adobe uses artificial intelligence to create live images |
Adobe has introduced Project In-Between, an AI-powered tool that can create so-called real-time images from discrete still images.
The company said that due to the improved frame rate and faster processor, the camera can take multiple shots in a row, so many photographers try to capture the right moment while taking multiple shots of the same scene.
All images except for the perfect image are generally ignored. But Adobe decided to use these images instead of removing them or making them invisible.
The company describes the tool as a new way to preserve memories as it can take two or more photos in a row and create something called a moving bridge between them.
In this way, it gives the originally still image a sense of movement and gives the old image a new vitality.
This tool uses Adobe's AI Sensei to create animations between two or more images with just one click. Project In-Between also allows you to choose a larger number of transition frames to create faster animations.
After you're done, you can also access the frames individually. However, there is one caveat that your photos must be identical.
For example, you can use a photo of a smiling person, and the general situation of the person will be different. If the images are completely different, the results will quickly become strange.
Adobe is testing many new features
The company said the feature can also be applied to videos to create slow motion clips. Adobe sees Project In-Between as a way to add interest to the photos you take with your phone.
The company stated that the results of the tool can be published in GIF format on social media and on various other sites.
With that in mind, it's important to see if the company can turn this technology into a mobile app so you can make changes to your phone and save the results there for easy publishing.
Over the years, the company has deployed dozens of beta features at its annual events. Host a fully customized and personalized meeting to get a glimpse of the technology that is evolving.
