Logitech has developed a new platform for the world of work from home |
Logitech has announced a new all-in-one platform designed for the new post-pandemic co-working realities.
The platform enhances your workflow with multiple connections and built-in speakers. This addon is for those who need to improve remote work or even an office setup.
"When the pandemic hit, we spent a lot of time with our users understanding their needs and shortcomings in the world of working from home," the company said. The result was Scott Logie Duke, the company's general manager and vice president of video collaboration, says Wharton.
The $399 Logi Dock lets you connect up to five USB devices and two external monitors. Use one cable connection to charge your 100W laptop.
The platform itself is a great speaker because it is designed for meetings. There are also meeting controls in the Logi Dock that let you quickly mute or mute videos in Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
The company also offers a built-in noise-cancelling speakerphone that makes it easy to join meetings without using a separate microphone or headset.

Thanks to the company's Logi Tune software, the Logi Dock is also integrated into your calendar. When the meeting starts, the stage will light up to let you know and you can click to join the stage.
When you're not using the Logi Dock for meetings, you can use it as a speaker for your computer or any Bluetooth-enabled device.
On the back of the Logi Dock are two USB-A 3.0 ports, as well as two USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 ports, a DisplayPort, an HDMI port, a USB-C port, a Kensington lock slot and a Bluetooth pairing button.
There is a USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 port on the side of the mini PC style platform.
The Logi Dock from Logitech will be available worldwide in graphite and white later this year for $399.
