iPhone 14 is a complete redesign
iPhone 14 is a complete redesign

Bloomberg reporter Mark Gorman (Mark Gorman) is back with another edition of his Power On newsletter, this time in response to rumors about the Apple iPhone 14 series.

Gorman claims that the iPhone product line will undergo a complete revamp over the next year, the first time since the launch of the iPhone X in 2017.

The reporter said that users can expect new models that will be completely redesigned for the next line of products. In fact, the small changes this year also mean that the company's engineers are working behind the scenes and that bigger things will take longer.

Compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max, the iPhone 13 Pro Max hasn't taken a big step forward. But this phone is clearly speeding up the upgrade process from the previous iPhone model to the 5G model.

This isn't the first time Apple has completely redesigned the iPhone 14 series, as trusted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the company will start with the iPhone 14 Pro and drop that decision in 2022.

Kuo describes the design change as a perforated screen design. This is similar to what is currently used in many large Android devices.

Leaker John Prosser (John Prosser) also confirmed the hole design, claiming to have seen a photo-realistic iPhone 14 Pro Max without bumps.

There are rumors that Apple may abandon the iPhone Mini and focus on the new iPhone Max in its next line of products. Therefore, the lineup can include two versions of the regular iPhone, Max and iPhone Pro models.

As for Touch ID at the bottom of the screen, Guo Mingchi explains that Apple is studying this technology. However, it is not clear if it will be ready in time for the iPhone lineup in 2022.

Guo recently said that it will be a feature in the iPhone lineup in 2023. In 2024, Apple will launch foldable devices.

iPhone 14 rumors surfaced

Speaking of the foldable iPhone, Gorman said that Apple is developing its own foldable device that could hit the market in a few years, which is confirmed by Guo's report.

Despite the accuracy of the report, the next line of iPhones is about a year away. Apple can still make fundamental changes before stopping production design.

Whatever the end result, the common theme of the leaks suggests that the next team could be a big update.
