Although the price of foldable phones is very low. The stylus is suitable for phones like the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy S21 Ultra, but the majority of users are still willing to buy the Galaxy Note phones.
Will Samsung release new Note?
Samsung now continues to sell Galaxy Note 20 phones. The company has indicated that it will stop adding new Note phones in 2021.
Samsung can bring new Note phones to market at any time. In addition, the company will always need a flagship phone that fully supports styluses. With the release of stylus-enabled accessories for other flagship phones, the experience will not be the same.
Smartphone users have expressed their preference for stylus-equipped phones more than once. The Galaxy Note is one of the best selling flagship phones from Samsung.
On the other hand, Motorola cell phones that support the Moto G stylus are the company's best-selling products. That was before LG Stylo phones left the smartphone market.
Using the stylus on the Galaxy Note is different from using a cell phone that does not support the built-in stylus. The user can take out and use the pen at any time, put it back after use and continue to use the phone, which is very convenient.
This is not the case when using the stylus with the Galaxy S21 Ultra or Galaxy Z Fold. Because these cell phones do not have space for pens. The user must wear it separately or use a special cell phone protective case.
Currently, in addition to the older Galaxy Note 20 phones, Samsung phones are not included in the stylus trial. For many users, especially former Note users, using the stylus as an external accessory remains an uncomfortable experience.
Samsung may have to relaunch the Galaxy Note lineup next year. Or start a new series that focuses on stylus support and delivers the highest level of productivity. However, this is not easy.
