Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Predictions |
On August 11, Samsung is preparing to host the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. For the past few years, the company has launched a new Galaxy Note phone at its August event. But this time, the South Korean giant will not be showing off the new Galaxy Note phone.
Because of the rumors and the company itself, we know very well what to expect next Wednesday.
The third generation of Samsung foldable phone
The company published a blog post last month in which its boss suggested what could happen at the event. The event will focus on the company's third-generation Galaxy Z-series foldable phones, including the Z Flip and Z Fold.
Judging by the loopholes on the Internet, the Z Flip 3 will likely come with a 1.9-inch external display and a flexible 6.7-inch internal display.
This external display is much larger than the 1.1-inch external display on the old Z Flip, so it's more useful when the device is turned off.
There are also reports that the operating frequency of the internal monitor is 120 Hz. There is a dual rear camera of 12 MP and a front camera of 10 MP.
Meanwhile, the Z Fold 3 is rumored to have similar settings to the current model, with a 6.2-inch external display and a 7.6-inch internal display.
It can be equipped with 12MP triple cameras and dual selfie cameras on both sides.
According to reports, both models have an IPX8 waterproof rating. Despite the fact that dust prevention remains an obvious challenge.
The foldable device supports Samsung's S Pen, and the stylus is the logo of the Galaxy Note series. The company activated support for its flagship S-series earlier this year.
The stylus is specially designed for flexible screens by foldable devices and is very popular. This makes larger, more open screens more useful.
In addition to the upcoming facts, the company has not shared much information about this S Pen. So there are still a lot of unknowns.
wearable devices
The company is also planning to launch the upcoming Galaxy Watch, which will run on the new Wear OS, which was co-developed with Google.
The Galaxy Watch 4 has a lot of leaked renders and there are likely to be active and classic versions.
The latter can offer three sizes instead of two. It appears to have the famous rotating bezel of the popular Samsung watch.
Additionally, Unpacked provides more detailed information on hardware and user interface as well as pricing and availability.
We also learned that the new Galaxy Buds 2 may be coming in Unpacked. The company's next wireless headphones seem to have a more refined design and more color options.
A beta-based report of the plug-in released through Samsung's update server also mentioned active noise cancellation, touch controls, and an improved battery interface.
That's pretty much all we know so far. But when it comes to the latest material, the list may have more content until August 11th.
