| Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 launched with active noise cancellation |
At an Unpacked event, Samsung announced what it sees as the future of mobile phones and foldable devices, showcasing the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 that showcase screen functionality in different ways.
In addition to mobile devices, Samsung also launched the Galaxy Buds 2. The new version comes with active ANC noise cancellation and costs only $149.
This is one of the few times we have seen this technology in this price range. Samsung also currently offers Buds Live and Buds Pro versions priced at $170 and $200, respectively. And the new version brings these two headphones together in terms of performance.
The new speaker outperforms the live version in terms of active noise cancellation, it is the smallest and lightest, in addition to the small and compact design of the speaker, it is also distinguished by its bright color instead of a matte color.
Samsung introduces Galaxy Buds 2. In the market
The special thing about this headset is that it can connect to Samsung phones quickly and automatically. It also allows you to connect to any mobile phone or other device using the traditional Bluetooth connection.
Due to the small size of the headset, it perfectly adapts to the ear, as well as the design of the headset itself and its conformity to the shape of the ear.
The problem with the headset is that it does not support automatic shutdown of music when removed from the ear. In addition, it only supports the IPX2 water resistance standard. Compared to the accompanying IPX7 standard, this is a poor standard. Some competitors, Samsung itself, are more in the high-end category.
In terms of battery life, the Galaxy Buds 2 offer five hours of uninterrupted music playback and active noise cancellation. The case can be loaded for another 20 hours.
If the sound isolation mode is not activated, the headphones can operate continuously for up to seven and a half hours and the charging time via the charging box doubles to 29 hours.
The speaker also supports the surround sound function. Plus support for two-way adaptive audio. This means that the headset can work for a full hour with a charging time of up to 5 minutes. The headset also supports wireless charging.
The headphones are available in black, white, olive and pink. Although the case remains white, only the color of the interior changes depending on the color of the speaker.
