| Realme launches MagDart Magnetic Wireless Charger |
Realme has launched a number of products that use a new technology called MagDart, which is essentially a wireless magnetic charging system for Android phones that is more powerful than Apple's MagSafe system for the iPhone 12 series.
With the advent of Apple's MagSafe with the iPhone 12 series, it was only a matter of time before other mobile phone manufacturers brought similar solutions to the market.
The MagDart 50W charger is the flagship of this series. The company claims that it is the world's fastest magnetic wireless charger.
This magnetic charger uses Realme's SuperDart 65W fast charging technology. On the other hand, this technology is a well-known version of Oppos SuperVOOC and OnePlus Warp Charge.
It uses a cube design and has its own air cooling system for optimum performance. Built-in fan keeps charger and phone cool while charging.
Realme-Oppo's sister brand, OnePlus, says users accept their shape in exchange for faster charging speeds.
The company claims that the charging speed is close to that of a 50W SuperDart wired charger. The charger can charge a 4500mAh cell phone battery to 100% in 54 minutes.
The company also has a MagDart loader, which is essentially the same as Apple's MagSafe disk. Although the Chinese company said that its thickness was reduced by 26.4% and that the download speed was faster.
This construction is due to the fact that the circuit board is located in the connector. This will keep the charging coil cool to improve efficiency.
Additionally, the MagDart Disk Charger can charge a 4,500mAh battery in 90 minutes, making it significantly faster than Apple's 15W option.
Realme announces the launch of its MagDart product line
Regardless of the convenience of wireless charging. The main benefit of magnetic designs like MagDart and MagSafe is the ability to not use connectors. This Chinese company also has many accessories of this type.
- MagDart Mobile Power: Similar to the MagSafe battery that Apple released recently. However, it comes with a base that allows you to use it as a wireless charging station.
- MagDart Protective Cover: Carbon fiber protective case, suitable for the new flagship Realme GT, with USB-C, headphone and integrated MagDart connectivity.
- MagDart Wallet: The three credit card slots in the leather compartment are similar to Apple's MagSafe Wallet. But it has an aluminum backrest.
- MagDart Beauty Light: Dimmable selfie ring light powered by reverse wireless charging. It has 60 mini LED lights and a dedicated control button that allows you to adjust settings such as brightness and color temperature.
In addition, the company did not disclose the release date or price of these products. When buying a custom case, the Realme GT is the only phone that can be used with any MagDart device.
The Chinese company is using a phone concept called Realme Flash to showcase the ecosystem containing MagDart. But there are no real plans to release it yet.
