Oculus introduces new features in virtual reality glasses |
Oculus has begun introducing a number of new software features for the Oculus Quest and Oculus Quest 2 VR headsets.
The new update brings some minor improvements. But the most important thing is the user experience of the glasses and the Oculus Move Health tracking app.
The most obvious feature is the ability to automatically sync photos and videos captured in VR with the Oculus mobile app for iOS and Android.
In a previous update, Oculus allowed downloading files from glasses via the VR browser app, which is an improvement over the original method of connecting glasses to a computer. However, this update goes further and removes more steps in viewing or sharing content where you can do it without glasses.
To sync Glass objects with the app for the first time, open the "File" app from the Glass Quest app library and tap on the cloud icon that appears in the upper right corner.
You need to activate the sync function. When you're done, you can view and share your clips and photos in the Devices section of the Oculus mobile app.
Oculus has also made other changes, including the ability to donate apps and games while wearing glasses.
Until now, freebies had to be given out via the Oculus app or browser. But now you can do it all in one place.

If you'd like to chat with your Oculus VR friends, you'll soon find these contacts in the Contacts tab of Facebook Messenger in VR instead of a separate section.
Oculus contacts are in the same list as your Facebook friends. But Oculus says that friends you make in VR won't be able to see your Facebook activity unless you add them as Facebook friends. Therefore, no matter how they appear in the application, they are always separate.
Oculus is testing the Move fitness platform. It can monitor your in-game actions to report metrics such as: b. fitness tracker
Instead of tracking daily goals, Oculus has added a new weekly goal indicator. This allows you to specify the number of days per week for training in virtual reality.
You can also share your Oculus Move training stats via Facebook, your group, or Messenger.
