New leak reveals the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 |
According to the information released so far, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 looks like the height of Samsung's dream of foldable devices.
In addition to high-end specifications that meet the standards of regular smartphones, this foldable phone is expected to feature the latest and greatest mobile technology from Samsung.
Of course, this phone is expected to cost more than its predecessors. But the inside info makes people hope that Samsung will find a way to get it at a reasonable price.
However, a new leak has revealed the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in Europe, which may come as a shock to those waiting for the phone.
Among other things, foldable phones should contain at least three innovations that have never been seen before in foldable phones.
At the top of the list is the dedicated S Pen that the company is talking about. This phone is also expected to receive an official water resistance rating, the first of any foldable device.
It remains to be seen if the foldable screen cell phone can also be equipped with Samsung's first under-display camera.
At the start of the foldable phone leak cycle, it turned out that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 cost significantly less than last year's model, with a 20% discount.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 price
However, the leaker has garnered some accolades from a European retailer indicating that it is not.
The 256GB Galaxy Z Fold 3 model is expected to cost €2,390 in 2009. The 512GB model costs €2,099 ($2,490).
Currency conversion aside, those prices are higher than the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The retail prices of the Galaxy Z Flip 3, on the other hand, are in line with previous rumor expectations.
The 128 GB model costs 1029 euros. The 256 GB model costs 1,109 euros.
Of course, the retailer's price does not make these numbers correct. At the same time, rumors and tips about the small number of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 are also unofficial, although it has been confirmed several times.
Hopefully the South Korean giant will come up with an acceptable pricing plan for foldable phones, or else it won't do much as fewer people can afford it.
It is reported that Samsung plans to display these foldable smartphones at its next big conference.
The conference is called Galaxy Unpacked and it takes place twice a year. The first time the new Galaxy S was launched in February and the second time in August.
