Microsoft brings xCloud to PC via Xbox app |
Microsoft is offering its xCloud cloud gaming service on Windows PCs through its Xbox app.
Xbox Insiders can use the built-in xCloud platform to access the new, updated Xbox app.
Just like xCloud on the web, you need a compatible joystick connected via Bluetooth or USB to access Xbox games from your Windows 10 PC.
The updated Xbox app includes a new cloud gaming zone with access to all games available on the web through xCloud.
Earlier this year, xCloud was introduced via a browser-based option for Windows 10 and iOS users.
We've also added new features to get started, including easy-to-access joystick info, network status, social features to stay in touch with your friends, and the ability to invite other people. Install the game cloud - join your game.
Microsoft offers xCloud on PC
Xbox Insiders can access new Xbox apps in 22 different countries by subscribing to Windows Game Preview on the Xbox Insider Hub.
Then you can use the cloud games in the Game Pass section of the app. It allows you to resume Xbox games that are played on multiple platforms or in the cloud.
This new Xbox app also offers the ability to stream games from your local Xbox. It allows you to turn on and off the console and play streaming games from Xbox.
If you're not an Xbox tester, you can still access your Xbox using this link. Microsoft will likely bring this immersive experience to the Xbox app through the Windows operating system in the coming months.
Xbox xCloud cloud gaming service has recently been upgraded to stream in 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second. Use the Xbox Series X server code to help run the service.
xCloud is currently available to anyone who has signed up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This also includes Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Xbox Live Gold.
