HP announces seven new gaming monitors

HP has announced seven new X-series gaming monitors, available in different sizes, types and resolutions, as well as some curved or flat screens.

The company seems keen to offer a range of options with high frame rates, low response times, practical designs and competitive pricing.

HP will be releasing these screens in the coming months, some are already available and some will be launched by October 2021.

According to the company, there are 4 27-inch models, two 32-inch and one 34-inch.

X27 is available now, 1080p at $259.99 and X27q 1440p at $339.99. Both are IPS panels with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a response time of 1ms.

Regardless of the difference in resolution, their design is very similar. Each has three slender wheels on the sides that can be raised and rotated as needed.

If you don't like the included bracket, it includes a VESA mount that you can mount to one of the many monitor arms available.

Each monitor announced today has the same ports and adaptive sync feature that can be used with AMD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 10 series, GTX 16 series, and newer graphics cards.

A larger version called the HP X32 was released in August. It's a 1440p screen with a variety of specs and features at $389.99.

The HP X34 will be available in September for $459.99. It has an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. But it is still limited to one DisplayPort and one HDMI port for video input.

The company will launch three different sizes of 1500R curved gaming monitors in October. They are similar to the tablet options in terms of design, port selection, and feature settings.

However, these screens have VA panels that generally have narrow viewing angles. Its brightness is 350 nits while the flat panel brightness is 400 nits.
