Apple AirPods get Find My functionality |
With the upcoming release of iOS 15, Apple's AirPods wireless headphones will benefit from many new features.
From the point of view of someone who has forgotten where to put their headphones, one of the most important features is the ability to link a set of AirPods to an Apple ID.
This is a great way to find it if business users currently use iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and iMac.
According to the iOS 15 beta code, it appears that you can register AirPods Pro and AirPods Max with an Apple ID.
You can then use Apple's Find My Network service to find your lost earphone or headphone.
The same icon indicates that it differs from Apple's Remote Lock and Wipe features for its computing devices. There is no way to prevent someone who finds the headset from deleting the Apple ID pairing.
It also appears that Apple is preparing for an important health-related announcement. Perhaps at the next annual iPhone event, which usually takes place in September.
Apple's machine learning research team has published a study showing how wireless headphones can be used to analyze a person's breathing rate. Record your breath using the built-in microphone.
Apple AirPods get 'Find My' functionality
According to published articles: Shortness of breath is a common symptom of many acute and chronic clinical conditions. Severe shortness of breath usually occurs during an asthma attack or heart attack.
However, chronic shortness of breath is usually a symptom of poor cardiovascular health, obesity, COPD, and CHF. The effort to breathe hard is also a powerful, independent predictor of mortality and a commonly used clinical scale to assess and monitor disease progression.
Your breathing can be an indicator of a number of medical conditions (some of which may be life-threatening) and your general health.
The study concluded that the sound of our breath is a useful signal approaching respiratory rate. Being able to use devices like AirPods for this is also more acceptable. This is compared to the usual way to go to the doctor's office or lab.
For several months, there have been rumors that Apple might release several health-related features for the second generation AirPods Pro. Therefore, the time for this research appears to be a good time for designers and health professionals to consider the different ways in which these devices can be used.
