The new leak suggests that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 have IPX8 water resistance, bringing them closer to the company's non-foldable phones.
The information was previously reported by Leaker Max Weinbach and is now backed up by Leaker Evan Blass, who posted a tweet on Twitter about the water resistance standards, as well as an image, apparently from Samsung, showing the phone splashing.
The new leak adds a note about the leaks and footage we saw prior to the Unpacked incident. Samsung events are taking place on August 11th, when these phones are expected to be launched.
As pointed out by SlashGear, the cell phone's alleged IPX8 rating does not include dust resistance, which has been a worrying issue since Samsung started making foldable cell phones.
However, the official water resistance rating can reassure those who are concerned about the durability of long-standing, expensive phones. It also allows the phone to better match other flagship phones.
The Plus tweet also mentioned the phone's camera and screen specifications. Except for the S Pen option available on the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Foldable phones are not a flash in the pan, but the beginning of a new era

After a separate leak, we also learned how Samsung did it by attaching the stylus to the phone with a case mounted just above the hinge.
Similarly, Samsung has added stylus support to the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Even if it is more elegant.
The official Galaxy Z Flip 3 demo leaked by WinFuture lets us see a larger external display and a repurposed dual camera.
The external screens on the original Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Flip 5G are very small. Move the notification and the clock to the status corner.
The next generation seems to make it easier for those trying to check notifications or take selfies with the main camera.
Rumors about the Galaxy Z Fold 3's water resistance and S Pen compatibility suggest that Samsung's foldable phones will get the same features as traditional phones.
