Windows 11 version leak annoys Microsoft

Earlier this week, an early version of Windows 11 was leaked online which will allow users to try out Microsoft's new system.

A copy, apparently compiled in late May, provides a preliminary understanding of what Microsoft calls the next generation of Windows.

The leaked version does not reflect the full picture of the OS update as it is the first version to be released.

It looks like Microsoft wants to prevent users from downloading it, which is why it's sending a DMCA complaint to Google in certain regions.

The software giant asked the search giant to remove results from articles containing links to ISO files from publications.

In Microsoft Japan's complaint, the company confirmed the name Windows 11. In fact, it requires the ISO to be removed from Windows 11. It is said to be a leaked copy of Windows 11 that has not yet been released.

The leaked version of Windows 11:

The company plans to hold an event to showcase the operating system on June 24. You may want users and enthusiasts to judge the next update by the time it is officially released.

The leaked version does not show any components like the Microsoft Store and is said to have received a major update.

Additionally, the leaked version lacks other improvements that can be offered through the Experience Pack feature. It can be released without an OS update and is currently for internal employees only.

There are still many unknowns, such as whether there will be a separate update for Windows 10 (version 21H2) in the fall. And what is Windows 11 Update and Lifecycle Support.

Most importantly, it always seems safe to find the Windows 11 tag, which can be found in pop-ups on Windows, the installation process, and even in a DMCA notice.
