Tik Tok adds a applet to the video

TikTok has announced a new feature that allows users to embed an applet called Jumps on their videos.

Skips are generated by third parties and are small programs and services that YouTubers can attach to their videos.

Users around the world can click these links to discover recipes, take quizzes, discover useful learning tools, and more for a more dynamic and practical experience.

For example, if someone is making a cooking video, they can include a link to the Whisk Recipe app that will allow viewers to drag the recipe sheet into TikTok with a single click.

This feature is currently being tested and only some creators can embed jumps in their videos. But TikTok announced that it will release this feature after further testing.

While watching a video with jumps, viewers will see a button at the bottom of the screen and then open the content on a new screen in TikTok.

Content creators can choose to skip the extension. You can then customize what the viewer sees after clicking Skip.

Tik Tok jumps start:

In the past few months, the company has been testing semi-public leaps. But now it is being made available to a larger number of the population.

During the development and testing phase, TikTok worked with a select group of companies to develop Leaps. Including Whisk, Breathwrk, Wikipedia, Quizlet, StatMuse and Tabelog.

In its announcement, the platform said that third-party providers, including BuzzFeed and IRL, will soon jump in. The app opens to developers who want to create their own experience.

The platform says: Anyone can apply. However, the provided content will be rated in terms of its usefulness and considered useful to the audience.

The platform stated that all members of the Creation Fund can now add jumps to their videos and monitor the performance of each jump.

It should be noted that Tik Tok is not the first company to introduce the concept of a small experience for similar applications across a video platform.

Snapchat has a similar feature called Minis that allows users to share and use apps and mini games with friends.

Like Jumps, Minis builds HTML5, which makes it relatively easy to create widgets for those familiar with web development.

Compared to Jumps, Snapchat recently added the ability to install apps more easily.
