| Office gets a new design compatible with Windows 11 |
Microsoft has announced that the next version of Office for Windows 11 will include a 64-bit native arm version to improve the performance of large documents or documents containing images, and to support 64-bit add-ons.
The new version of Office is currently in beta and available to Office Insiders.
Microsoft also announced a redesign of Office. Although the Productivity Pack uses a design similar to Windows 11, it is available whether you are running Windows 11 or a preview version of Windows 10.
In addition to the new design, Office has also adapted to Windows' light and dark modes, so you can avoid opening documents at night and affecting your experience.
Microsoft didn't hesitate to talk about using Windows 11.
The list of supported processors includes several Qualcomm chips and uses the Surface Pro X arm to demonstrate the tablet's capabilities for the new operating system.
For those who use arm devices, the native app can be more efficient than the emulator and provide better performance.
New design for the office
It seems odd that it took so long for the vulnerable 64-bit version of Office to reach Windows. This was after receiving the original copy of the Mac computer with the M1 processor late last year.
Some of the functionality mentioned by Microsoft is not included in the arm version of Office. This is completely normal because it is currently in the testing phase.
In addition to appearing on the Office Insider Program. If you want to pass the Productivity Pack Arm test, you must also run the Windows 11 preview.
Before you reinstall Office and upgrade to the trial version, you must also uninstall any installed 32-bit versions of Office.
