Sony announced four portable wireless speakers |
Sony's portable speaker line will be updated in 2021. The XB13, XP500, XP700 and XG500 will improve sound and flexibility and support fast charging.
Sony said this outbreak may keep us at home, but it has spurred headphone sales. Hence, the goal of these four new models is to be more gender-neutral rather than focusing on electronic dance music.
SRS-XB13:
The SRS-XB13 is the smallest of the new four speakers and replaces the old XB12 while keeping the same shape. In 2021, the audio range will be expanded and portability simplified.
The water and dust resistance of the case reaches IP67 and thanks to the UV coating it can withstand even summer temperatures.
You can attach the XB13 to a backpack, leash, or anywhere else with a new multi-directional wrist strap. The battery life is 16 hours and can be charged via USB-C.
Although Sony does not support the use of Party Connect, the XB13 can be paired wirelessly to produce stereo sound.
Thanks to the built-in microphone, the XB13 can function as a hands-free device and supports Google's fast pairing function.
It is equipped with Sony's Extra Bass, which provides powerful and crisp sound, as well as the company's proprietary audio stream processor, which delivers rich and dynamic sound.
The XB13 is retailing for $ 59.99 in June and it comes in five colors.

On the back there are two microphone inputs for karaoke, one of which can be used for guitar, supports Bluetooth, two USB ports (for music and charging from a mobile device), and Party Connect space for up to 100 wireless speakers that offer and play the same thing together.
