| Instagram is adding caption option for stories |
Instagram has released a new subtitle poster that allows users to watch without sound to make Stories and Reels videos easier to access.
The extension makes it easier for hard of hearing or deaf users to interact with video content and allows users to view videos that they do not want the audio to play in.
To use this feature, the creator uses stories or roles in the Instagram app to record a new video or select a video to download from their phone.
Then he opens the poster room and looks for a new translation poster that turns speech into text.
You can also change the style, position of captions, text, and color to suit the content. Upon publishing, captions will display next to the video for all to see.
