Apple launched iOS 14.6 for iPhone users |
Apple released iOS 14.6, which provides iPhone users with an Apple Map update and a new AirTag option.
The main function of the new version of the operating system is the Apple Card family, which allows Apple credit cards to be shared with up to five people in the Family Sharing group.
Apple recently announced this option, promising that it would be an easy way for young people to use payment methods, and for many people to work together on a credit score basis.
Anyone in the Family Sharing group over the age of 13 can access Apple Card.
Anyone over the age of 18 can become a co-owner and have a shared credit limit, access to other users' expenses, and a monthly bill.
At the same time, anyone over the age of 13 can join the account, and the account holder can see the use of the account and control the purchase limit.
Participants over the age of 18 can choose to participate in the credit report.
Additionally, there are options to control spending and control spending so that users cannot use their new virtual card.
There are also a number of expense tracking features. Existing Apple Card users can merge two Apple Card accounts to obtain a higher combined credit limit and reduce one account to less than the accounts ’annual interest rate.

For AirTag and "Find Me", there is a new "Lost Mode" option to add contact details. When someone finds and clicks AirTag on an NFC-enabled device, your phone number will not be displayed but can be identified as an email address. Owner's phone number (partially hidden).
As always, the iOS update also includes bug fixes and Voice Control users can unlock their iPhone for the first time after an audio-only restart.
This release also fixes the following issues:
- After using the iPhone lock on the Apple Watch, using the Apple Watch to unlock it may not work properly.
- The reminder can be displayed as a blank line.
- The call blocking extension might not appear in the settings.
- During a call, the Bluetooth device can sometimes disconnect or send audio to other devices.
- IPhone may be performing poorly during startup.
