| What is SmartBlock feature in Firefox and How will it improve browsing experience? |
Mozilla Foundation was developed for Firefox, and it introduces new standards for users to maintain their privacy in Firefox 86 when using the Incognito Mode by fully protecting cookies. However, some features still cause a lot of problems in the browser such as: For example: (Content Blocking), which may lead to many websites to crash.
To fix these issues, Mozilla released a new smart tracking blocking mechanism in the browser version (Firefox 87), which allows you to surf the Internet privately without destroying the website as before. What is this feature and how does it work?
This function is called (SmartBlock) and is now available in a new update to the desktop browser version (Firefox 87), as it can correct browsing in incognito mode or activate the mode for strict protection.
As we already found out, Firefox Tracking Protection completely blocks third-party scripts, images, and other content. However, some websites require cross-site tracking companies to post these tracking components in order to function properly. Otherwise, you will encounter many problems, such as: the image not displaying, poor performance, or even the webpage not loading at all.
With the SmartBlock function, these issues are now resolved, as the new functionality allows blocked external tracking text to be stored locally. So these backup scripts behave like the original scripts to ensure the website works properly. The website takes on the role of uploading the original text with the appropriate functionality.
Mozilla said in the support document, “SmartBlock backup comes with Firefox and it doesn't download the actual third-party tracking code content so they don't have a way to track you that way. Of course the same is true only the code that has the tracking function. The backup software isn't loaded.
The new update also improves the (Highlight All) feature of (Find Page). Not only does the banner fully support the generated content, it also displays a banner next to the slider that corresponds to its corresponding position on the page. On Mac OS (VoiceOver) and several minor UI enhancements as well as security and general improvements.
