| Twitter will soon allow you to save Spaces chat history |
With the rise of the struggle to excel in the social podcast, Twitter is rapidly developing its Spaces podcast.
The company is adding new features and tools for users in the first test suite and hopes to add more users to the expanded beta group.
Twitter Product Manager Kayvon Beykpour stated that he would like to add an option for users to save and reuse space so that Spaces audio tools become more profitable soon.
The company is studying a way to actually record conversations. "The choice has to be there. If you think the interview is worthwhile, you should be able to conduct it."
He added: Obviously, if the host is able to save what he wants, maybe host a space, save it and then modify it, then you need to be able to do that.
Bikpour also realized that having multiple attendees increased the complexity and the need for reuse by all speakers.
When attendees want to share audio without the explicit consent of the host, the idea of recording and sharing clips becomes more complicated. I also think the idea of letting the audience choose and share the audio content as a clip is important.
However, it looks like it will soon become an option that could make Spaces more podcasts and add new content options for those who want to get the most out of Spaces' endeavors.
This could allow Spaces to gain another advantage over the Clubhouse platform, which is growing rapidly and is currently in direct competition with Twitter as Spaces continue to grow.
It's also worth noting that Twitter is currently recording conversations from Spaces and is holding conversations for review for 30 days.
On the other hand, Twitter is developing a new Spaces shared hosting option that will allow you to manage your conversations in real time.
Combined with the ability to co-host and record voice chats, this could open up more opportunities for content, add value to Twitter's voice tools and make it more attractive to brands and marketers.
