The hidden signs of Corona are discovered by an artificial intelligence device

In addition to rapidly developing vaccines, the US Food and Drug Administration has also approved several developments in coronaviruses, which are used in emergency situations as part of the ongoing battle against the devastating virus.

To date, the agency has approved medical advances, including in vitro monoclonal antibodies for more serious intermediate infections, rapid tests with CRISPR gene-editing technology, and the Fitbit Flowbit ventilator.

The AI-based screening device is the latest tool approved by the US Food and Drug Administration to identify potential signs of Coronavirus in asymptomatic individuals.

The initial package is called Tiger Tech COVID Plus Monitor. It is a bracelet that uses light sensors and a small computer processor to check the vital signs of the virus, such as: B- Hypercoagulation (an abnormal phenomenon common in the Corona virus that improves blood. It is easy to intensify).

After installing the device on a person's arm, within three to five minutes, the sensor will begin receiving pulse signals from the bloodstream. Then the therapist extracts the basic information from the measurement results and enters it using a machine learning model.

The final result (including if the test shows positive biomarkers such as excessive coagulation or unsafe biomarkers) is represented by different colors of light.

The US Food and Drug Administration confirmed in its announcement that the cuff is not intended to diagnose the virus, replace routine tests, or use it on people with symptoms.

Instead, it is a backup support that is used with temperature checks to check whether the readings indicate a fever in asymptomatic individuals.

These two test tools can be used together to limit the spread of the virus in a number of public places, including health facilities, schools, workplaces, parks, playgrounds and airports, the agency said.

The approval for the device came after clinical studies in hospitals and schools showed similar results.

In the hospital setting, the device correctly detected vital signs of the virus at a rate of 98.6% and accurately identified these cases without warning signs of 94.5%.

A school test also confirmed these results, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
