OnePlus announces the OnePlus 9R in India |
OnePlus ended the OnePlus 9 Series World Congress by announcing the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus Watch, and with these three devices it brought the affordable OnePlus 9R to the Indian market.
OnePlus brings the new affordable OnePlus 9R gaming phone to the Indian market.
The device houses the design of the other two phones in the OnePlus 9 range with a rectangular camera on the back and a breathable screen in the front. However, the design quality of the device differs from that of its more advanced siblings.
The OnePlus 9R replaces Gorilla Glass 5, uses a matte polycarbonate back and has no IP rating for dust and water resistance.
If the OnePlus 9R sounds familiar, it's because the OnePlus 8T has been redesigned with the Snapdragon 870 chip and a redesigned camera.
The processor contains up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The device also features an improved cooling system, a new OnePlus Pro game mode, impressive touch feedback, and stereo speakers to enhance the gaming experience.
While the OnePlus 9R is pricey, it has a quad camera on the back, including a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor lens with OIS, a 16MP wide-angle Sony IMX481 sensor lens with a 123-degree field of view, a 5MP camera, and a 2-megapixel monochrome megapixel lens.
There is a 16MP front camera. When it comes to the display, the OnePlus 9R comes with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and is updated to this day at 120Hz.
The device can be used with a 4,500 mAh battery and supports 65-watt fast wired charging via the included charger.
The phone is intended for the Indian market and will be ordered for the first time in early April. The device is priced at $ 550 for the 8/128 GB version and $ 605 for the 12/256 GB version.
