Yuba releases electric cargo scooters for $ 3,200 |
Yuba Cargo Bikes launched a new entry-level electric bike to attract more customers.
The company produces electric cargo bikes for manual transportation of children or goods with an emphasis on safety and comfort.
The company's latest electric cargo bike is priced at $ 3,200, and the Yuba Combi E5 is an option the company wants to attract more budget-conscious riders.
The electric cargo bike is powered by the Shimano E5000 STEPS medium-wheel drive, which provides additional speeds of up to 32 km / h.
The new bike includes a frame based on the non-electric station wagon model released last year.
The Yuba Kombi E5 is equipped with Shimano batteries and Shimano Alivio hydraulic disc brakes.
The bike is also equipped with a call function for the Shimano E-Tube Ride app, where information such as speed, power level and flight distance can be displayed on the rider's smartphone.
The Yuba Kombi E5 is equipped with 24-inch wheels, which can lower the ride height slightly compared to the larger 26-inch wheels.
The company said the standard wheels, Shimano Altus derailleurs tires, and Maxxis hookworm tires provide a low center of gravity so you can drive with confidence.
Its steel frame saves space for up to three passengers and can carry a total weight of up to 200kg. It can also be customized with many additional options suitable for Kombi or Kombi E5 for transporting people or equipment.
The company has outfitted the bike with LED bumpers, lights, headlights and taillights, as well as two mounts, and Yuba has a full range of charging-related accessories that can be added to the electric bike.
Benjamin Sarrazin, CEO of Yuba Cargo Bikes, said: "When we launched the Kombi in January 2020, our idea was to produce a high-quality cargo bike at an attractive price with the Boda Boda and Mundo models."
He added: The bike was a quick hit. For the same reason, we started developing a version for those who want to enjoy a rechargeable lifestyle, and the bike was launched in European retail stores a few months ago. After inspection, demand is strong and we are the same in North America.
According to reports, the Yuba Kombi E5 bike is not yet available, but it should be available in March as it is orange with orange and silver accents.
