YouTube TV offers 4K streaming and offline viewing |
Google announced that the TV broadcasting service YouTube TV will provide an additional new package in the coming weeks. The package can be played at home in 4K resolution, offline viewing and unlimited simultaneous playback.
YouTube TV offers live TV, video-on-demand, and cloud-based digital video recorder from over 85 TV networks.
With more people phasing out traditional cable TV services, Google TV is the first choice for live TV broadcasting.
As a result, the service has got more new features this year, including 4K live streaming in real time.
Google has confirmed some planned updates to its core products with new posts, including the YouTube platform itself, YouTube Music and YouTube TV.
There is no set time limit for the arrival of new features, including the ability to watch shows in 4K, provided the channel is able to do so.
4K broadcasting is still rare, but it may become more popular in the future, especially when major events (like the Super Bowl) try to broadcast in 4K.
In addition to 4K streaming, this new add-on package also allows you to download recordings for offline viewing.
With this add-on package, families can also use YouTube TV on multiple devices at the same time.
Just like today, a family can track the service on up to three devices at the same time.
It might not be very common for families to reach this stage regularly, but you can of course extend simultaneous broadcasts.
It's unclear how much this additional plan will cost YouTube TV users as the service starts at $ 65 a month.
It is not clear if there are any restrictions on the channels or offerings that support offline downloading, and the company has not provided samples of 4K content.
Offline viewing is very rare in broadcast TV apps, and Hulu allows you to download TV shows and movies if necessary for offline viewing. However, this does not apply to recordings on live TV services.
